Want Tips For Facial Rejuvenation? Find Them Here

Facial rejuvenation technology can allow you to grow some new skin. You just have to know what ingredients to look for and those to avoid. Let's start with the bad stuff and get that out of the way.
Cosmetic companies are free to use practically any ingredient in their skincare products. There are only a few prohibited substances in the US. The list of chemicals that are banned and deemed unsafe for cosmetics is much longer in the European Union.
To try to help consumers find companies that follow the EU's guidelines, a coalition of women's, public health, labor, and environmental health and consumer-rights groups created the "Campaign for Safe Cosmetics". As of August 2007, 600 companies had signed the compact, but none of the big brand names will sign.
They still do not believe that there are ingredients that have a negative impact on facial rejuvenation. It's almost like they are living in the dark ages. They still maintain that hazardous chemical compounds do not penetrate the epidermis, when we know that dermal absorption of toxins happens all of the time.
The big companies believe that it is necessary to include artificial preservatives, primarily parabens, but BHA is another bad one. It has been linked to cancer in numerous studies. Sodium methyl paraben was banned by the EU when it was shown that it causes de-pigmentation of the skin's cells. But, there are still many companies that use that preservative, too. The better companies know that natural vitamin E is an effective preservative and has also been shown to play a role in facial rejuvenation.
If you want effective facial rejuvenation, there are a number of beneficial ingredients to look for. Let's start with Functional Keratin.
Keratin is one of the proteins responsible for the skin's strength and elasticity. When you see keratin listed as an ingredient in lotions and creams made by major manufacturers, the source is animal hooves or horns, which have been processed using high heat and harsh chemicals. During all of this processing, the protein loses its value. Functional Keratin is processed using patented processes that allow the protein to retain its value and be useful to the skin's cells. It is gently extracted from sheep's wool and the only wool that they use comes from selected farmers that the company has found to be reliable.
In clinical studies, creams containing Functional Keratin have been shown to contribute to facial rejuvenation by increasing the proliferation of new skin cells by as much as 160%, improving firmness by over 40%, in a matter of days.
In addition to Functional Keratin, you should look for Wakame Kelp. All varieties of kelp are highly nutritious and very valuable to the skin's health. But, wakame has the ability to protect another of the skin's vital proteins; hyaluronic acid.
